Seeker supports several protocols that aren't associated with search engines. There's a seemingly unlimited potential here, but here is what we have so far.
find: - Uses Yahoo, mimicking Microsoft Internet Explorer's "find" command.
hello: - This command displays a simple hello message.
open: - This command allows you to use the Navigator Location bar to open files and folders on local disks. Capitalization of entered text isn't important.
restart: - When entered, the "restart:" protocol restarts the machine.
seeker: - This command visits the Seeker home page at http://antioch-college.edu/~stefan/seeker.html.
shutdown: - Shuts down the machine.
stefan: - Addresses an email message to mailto:stefan@antioch-college.edu

Dan Crevier's I-C-Netscape, available at http://rhino.harvard.edu/dan/home.html, bridges the gap between Internet Config and Netscape Navigator. I-C-Netscape sends Navigator information about all of the entries in your Internet Config database.
